Summary
The main purpose of the function is to technically support clients with our solutions (as a Clients & Solution Expertise "SmartFleet"), and to be the expert of a range of digital solutions (as a "Solutions Specialist").
What will be your responsibilities?
Key Deliverables & Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and activate guidance systems on construction and mining mobile machines, including SmartFleet hardware (Topcon, RDS, 3DMG, and others) across EU territories.
- Train operators on the use of installed systems and provide professional after-sales support including support to office software solutions like Sitelink or Magnet.
- Provide remote customer assistance and troubleshooting, leveraging remote connectivity oninstalled solutions.
- Join company efforts to transition our support model from transactional to digital, leveraging solutions applications and software suites from SmartFleet, Topcon or SmartConstruction.
- Ensure the integration and optimal performance of our digital solutions at job sites level and promote solutions capabilities to improve customer operation efficiency.
- Take proactive measures to ensure machine remote connectivity during and after installation or repairs using all available communication means (cellular, radio, WiFi, etc…).
- Manage after-sales support, including spare parts preparation, warranty follow-up, breakdown services, and identifying opportunities for additional SmartFleetDX services.
- Proactively promote SmartFleetDX solutions based on customers' application requirements.
- Plan, monitor, and report all after-sales services provided to customers and projects, ensuring proper allocation to a specific cost center.
- Contribute to defining a sustainable, profitable, and recurrent after-sales model for SmartFleet, with a strong focus on Topcon/RDS.
- Become familiar with and support other SmartFleetDX activities, including installation, support, training, and remote applications assistance.
- Ensure all systems in operation are mirrored as Digital Twins in SmartFleet administrative tools.
- Ensure update guidance system documentations, specification and products memorandum are accessible to your Teammate.
- Able to communicate efficiently with various stakeholders from SmartFleet Engineers, Project Managers, OEM Partners, Customers / Site Operators.
- Use Freshdesk to monitor customer requests and contribute to the resolution center by sharing cases and knowledge in the library.
Who are we looking for?
- Minimum of 5 years in the field of construction technology or machine control systems.
- Bac +2 in Electromechanics or Surveying/Topography or equivalent by experience.
- Equivalent qualifications in related fields will be considered.
- Extensive experience with various guidance systems, including laser and GPS technologies, for installation on graders, excavators, and bulldozers.
- Autonomously install and configure machine control systems across various brands and provide customer training.
- Fluent in French and Dutch is required; other languages, such as English, will be an asset.
