Quality Manager
BIA Group is active in the sales, rentals and after-sales services of equipment intended for public works, mines, quarries and transport. The Group operates in Europe, Africa and Asia and has more than 1500 enthusiastic employees.
Summary
The candidate will be responsible of implementing and continuously improving the Quality Management System (QMS) across the country and the Component Rebuild Centre (CRC) to ensure compliance with ISO standards, Dealer Operational Standards (DOS), and company requirements while delivering high customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
What will be your responsibilities?
1. Quality Management
- Deploy QMS (Quality Management System) accross its country.Manage
- & lead local Quality stakeholders (relay, officer) based in its countries (leadership, organization, coaching).
- Implement defined tools and softwares to perform quality activities.
- Develop and maintain quality KPI & reporting for its country.
- Establish adequate quality documentation (process, procedures, standards,..) in coordination with experts from central support teams and local management/staff. Publish and make available to employees the quality-related documents via intranet.
- Implement DOS (Dealer Operational Standard) in its country.
- Lead internal audits, supplier audits, and support third-party audits.
- Generate innovative and tailor-made ISO9001 guidelines/alternatives to local entities' requirements.
- Use the Customer Care monitoring system (customer satisfaction, customer expectations, customer complaints). Develop a dynamic and implement actions in order to correct the observed deviations in a consistent way.
2. Component Rebuild Centre (CRC) Quality
- Establish and monitor quality standards for component rebuild activities.
- Ensure compliance with rebuild procedures, inspection requirements, and technical specifications.
- Supervise quality inspections, testing, and final product release.
- Lead root cause analysis of quality issues, premature failures, and warranty claims.
- Monitor subcontractor quality performance and conduct audits.
- Ensure calibration and control of tools, equipment, and test benches.
- Ensure quality records and data in SAP and other systems are accurate and complete.
- Support workshop management on customer quality matters and quality reporting.
3. Leadership & Capability Development
- Lead and coach Quality Officers, Quality Relays, inspectors, and quality stakeholders.
- Deliver quality awareness sessions and training programs.
- Support competency development within workshop and operational teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and implementation of best practices across sites.

Who are we looking for?
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in Quality Management, Quality Assurance, or Quality Control, preferably within workshops, service operations, manufacturing, or component rebuild environments.
- Quality Expertise: Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, internal and external audits, process analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies. Certifications such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Auditor qualifications are an advantage.
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of equipment maintenance, rebuild processes, quality systems, customer satisfaction, and improvement plans.
- Soft Skills: Strong teamwork, communication, influence and persuasion, results-oriented mindset, proactive approach, and ability to identify improvement opportunities.
- Additional Strengths: Versatile profile with broad cross-functional knowledge and understanding of multiple business areas.
