Summary

 

The function's mission is to manage, structure, organize, monitor and develop the mining project(s) After Sales entrusted, as well as the implementation of new contracts respecting the strategy of the group.

 

What will be your responsibilities?

 

Structure, Organize, Manage & Sales (In conjunction with the Project Operations Manager or After-Market Business Development Manager)

  • Ensure that contractual commitments to the customer(s) are observed, whilst protecting the interests of BIA, in line with company strategy;
  • Frequently visit and monitor the customer and BIA teams on site; Co-ordinate on-site progress meetings with the team; Organise HSE meeting / project review each year on the site;
  • Draw up and participate in the project review of your project(s);
  • Immediate inform your manager of any risks or drift noticed in your projects. Draw up and apply the relevant corrective action plan;
  • Define, implement and track the human and equipment resources required for the smooth running of the project(s);
  • Develop specific knowledge of the Komatsu or other product range concerned by the project(s) for the teams concerned (Product Support, parts, logistics, project team, training, etc.). 

 

Finance

  • Ensure the profitability of projects;
  • Identify, implement, and track actions aiming to improve the margin of projects;
  • Develop, analyse and track the economic and financial reporting of projects under your responsibility in close collaboration and transparently with your counterpart from the Finance department;
  • Draw up the investment and financing requests for projects and argue for them to the Finance department. 

Who are we looking for?

 

  • Holder of a higher University Diploma in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Five years' experience is sought in Mining Industry
  • English (French language is a plus)
  • Relevant experience of Priority Management
  • Project Management experience (e.g., IT, department restructuring, implementation of major projects, etc.)
  • Experience of international organizations with subsidiaries
  • Operations, process, and QHSE focus
  • People Management skills
  • Organizational and management capabilities
  • Customer focus and result-oriented, salesmanship, team player, instructor
  • Listening skills, empathy, and assertiveness
  • Technical awareness and a practical mindset
  • 20% of business travel
