Summary
BIA Group is active in the sales, rentals and after-sales services of equipment intended for public works, mines, quarries and transport. The Group operates in Europe, Africa and Asia and has more than 1200 enthusiastic employees.
What will be your responsibilities?
Tools inventory and management.
- issuing out and issuing in tools physically and in the system.
- inspecting of tools to determine re-usability.
- recording, tagging out and reporting damaged/lost tools.
- monitoring meteorological tools due for calibration.
- monitor and update workshop tools catalog on monthly basis
- make sure all check sheets for tools are filled in before a tool is issued out.
- testing and checking of tools coming back from repairs and keeping a catalog of calibration certificates.
Workshop consumables/PPE inventory and management
- monitor and manage workshop consumable quantities make sure there's always enough at all times.
- monitor and manage workshop PPE quantities, issuing out and monitor to control usage.
- running errands for the workshop ( have a varied licence).
Who are we looking for?
Minimum Qualifications
Diploma or Certificate in:
- Stores Management
- Inventory Management
- Logistics Management
- Business Administration (with stores experience)
Experience
2 to 5 years of experience in:
- Tool stores management
- Warehouse operations
- Inventory control
- Workshop or maintenance environments
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment.
- Inventory management and stock control.
- Tool issuing and return processes.
- Cycle counts and stock audits.
- Spare parts identification.
- Any tool management system.

Additional Requirements
- Valid forklift license.
- Valid driver’s license MUST
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements.
- Experience in mining or heavy equipment workshops.
- Computer literacy (Excel, Outlook, ERP systems).
