Summary

 

Ensure the operational execution of the overall purchasing process linked to specific vendors/suppliers.

What will be your responsibilities?

 

  • Ensure purchase requirements are processed & PO's sent to suppliers to ensure correct and 
    on time deliveries and Order confirmation received on time.
  • Monitor and follow up on suppliers’ on-stock delivery with respect to confirmation dates at the time of order.
  • Identify the lines that will be delivered late regarding the Service Level.
  • With the Supply Chain Coordination team, identify the most urgent lines and liaise with the respective Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to obtain better delivery dates.
  • Lead/participate in weekly follow up calls with Suppliers and SC Coord team.
  • Search for alternative solutions by contacting other suppliers.
  • Together with the Technical Team, identify possible technical alternatives.
  • Update the Supply Chain Coordination team on the solutions found and take the appropriate actions, including cancelling, modifying existing orders and placing new orders. 
  • Update availability/confirmation dates in the ERP (SAP). 
  • Verify supplier deliveries and invoices, ensure proper receipt in the ERP (SAP).
  • Follow up on supplier statement of accounts together with finance team.
  • Liaise with the logistics department to organise shipment of orders from suppliers in case of alternate sourcing.
  • Ensure suppliers deliveries are made on time-based Delivery notice received.
  • Treat discrepancies regarding OEM invoice and follow up on pricing discrepancies (IDOC).
  • Strictly follow the escalation matrix and ensure actions are taken on time.
  • Contribute to SC continuous improvement. 

Who are we looking for?

 

  1. Diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Management, or Sales (or similar by experience) 
  2. MS Office and SAP (or any other ERP)
  3. Fluent in French and English
  4. A first experience in a similar function
  5.  Any customer or supplier facing experience is a plus
