Summary

The Machine Down Support Officer (Supply Chain) ensures the entire operational execution from Order to Delivery for Machine Down orders including finding alternate sourcing when needed, quickest delivery route. This function requires 7/7 availability and working after office hours as/when required.

What will be your responsibilities?

• Ensure parts delivery within the shortest lead time, including challenging OEM on delivery dates, looking for alternative suppliers, finding the quickest logistics route.
• Ensure customers receive clear and regular communication about their orders and other inquiries.
• Develop good communication & relationships with the logistics partners to solve regular operational issues and conduct small negotiations which might be required at an operational level.

• Ensure follow-up of backorders with suppliers.
• Contribute to Supply Chain continuous improvement.

Who are we looking for?

• Experience in Supply Chain (2-4 years)
• Customer Service (2-4 years)
• Experience in parts supply chain operations is an advantage
• Fluent in written & spoken English & French
• Knowledge of SAP and MS Office applications
• Candidate willing to work normal working hours (8h30 – 17h) & flexible hours (flexible hours: 13h – 21h, alternate weekends (13h-19h) and public holidays)
