Summary
The purpose of the Job is to lead the indirect procurement team and ensure the efficient sourcing and purchasing of goods and services that support the company’s operations. The Indirect Procurement Team Leader plays a key role in supplier management, contract negotiation, cost optimization, process compliance, and continuous improvement while ensuring internal stakeholders receive the required support in a timely and professional manner.
What will be your responsibilities?
- Organise all activities related to indirect procurement operations
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to understand requirements, source solutions, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor and follow up with suppliers to ensure they perform as expected in terms of quality, cost, and service.
- Develop strong communication and relationships with suppliers and service providers to resolve operational issues and support negotiations at the appropriate level.
- Participate in the continuous optimization of indirect procurement processes, tools, and ways of working.
- Ensure purchase orders, contracts, and supplier invoices are processed correctly in the ERP (SAP) and in line with company procedures.
- Lead the indirect procurement team by providing coaching and mentoring as required in accordance with the business's annual performance review system.
- Train, develop, and assist subordinates within procurement processes, sourcing practices, and supplier management.
- Contribute to procurement continuous improvement and cross-functional performance initiatives.
Who are we looking for?
Qualification & Experience:
- Diploma in Procurement/Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business Management, Finance, or similar by experience
- MS Office and SAP are mandatory
- Experience in procurement, sourcing (5 years)
- Any experience in supplier management, contract negotiation, or stakeholder management is a plus
- Fluent in French & English
