Summary

 

In charge of our Operations Center, the Head of Parts Supply Chain Operations will plan, direct and monitor all upstream parts supply chain activities, i.e. day to day operations, Continuous Improvement actions and projects and OEM/Supplier and Logistics providers day to day management, to ensure, jointly with the Head of Parts Supply Chain Planning and Head of Supply Chain Network, that BIA has the right parts at the right place at the right time at the right cost, while ensuring best in class speed of delivery, optimal cost to serve, and Operations Center improved efficiency and productivity.

 

What will be your responsibilities?

 

Key accountabilities:

  • Develop logistics & operations strategies in line with the Group Supply Chain strategy
  • Develop tactics translating strategy into concrete projects & action plans
  • Develop and maintain daily Best in Class Operations Center Dashboard
  • Follow-up on projects & action plans to achieve expected results
  • Day-to-day management of the team (holiday, recruitment, coaching, training, planning, objectives settings, ...)
  • Ensure processes are lean, understood and applied
  • Guarantee proper understanding & use of information systems among the teams
  • Monitor and report speed of delivery, quality of commitment, productivity and workforce planning
  • Maintain good communication and relationship with key stakeholders (customers, OEMs, LSPs, other departments)
  • Represent BIA Supply Chain in key meetings with customers, OEMs and Logistics partners
  • Drive day to day supplier performance through the optimal use of supplier contracts
  • Improve logistics reliability while reducing total Cost to Serve
  • Work closely with HR to ensure the operational and daily management of the team in compliance with BIA’s  policies as defined by HR. (Incl: recruitment, objective setting, performance evaluation, training and personal development plan, talent review, holiday and expense review and approval, etc.)

Who are we looking for?

 

  • Local profile
  • Master’s in Supply chain or Operations or Engineering
  • Min. 10 years of proven experience in an equivalent setup
  • Min. 2 years of proven experience in a managerial role
  • Both French and English is required (Spoken and written)
  • Competencies : Team work, Result Orientation, Leadership, Customer focus, Planning & Organising
