As part of the Digitalization & Monitoring Services team, the Fleet Monitoring Specialist (Production Monitoring Engineer – Mining & Construction Equipment) will oversee our solutions, ensure client adoption, develop advanced fleet reports based on equipment telematics data, and provide continuous improvement analytics to optimize productivity.

What will be your responsibilities?

 

Remote Monitoring Services

  • Provide remote monitoring services to Clients/BIA operation as per SmartFleet contracts
  • Provide timely reports and analysis with added values
  • Leverage our solution to enhance operational efficiency in mining, quarry, and construction environments
  • Provide Saving analysis based on TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) simulations
  • Advance Analysis crossing Data from various sources to drilldown reports exceptions
  • Analyze data insights to identify opportunities for reducing downtime and improving machine utilization

Maintain & Develop Dashboards

  • Maintain & develop Machine Performances dashboards/integrated analysis
  • Maintain & develop productivity dashboards using Power BI, Qliksense and excel
  • Develop ad-hoc dashboards based on business and operations needs

New Analysis & Statistical Tools Development

  • Develop statistical strategy to quickly highlight data exception
  • Support automation and integration of developed Statistical analysis
  • Improve available analysis in SmartFleet environment
  • Provide consulting services to customers in implementation plans and assessment of SmartFleet Suite solutions
  • Training/Coaching for operations/businesses & customers

Monitor System Performance and Data Integrity

  • Monitor overall system performance to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Conduct regular sanity checks to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
  • Quickly learn and master advanced tools for comprehensive data validation.
  • Drive end-user compliance with the solution to guarantee correct data input and reliable output.

Project Management
  • Build-up of implementation plan for new projects
  • Define Project elements and define roles using RACI framework
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders during project deployment.
  • Keep customers informed with timely updates throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Track task allocation and progress to ensure adherence to the implementation timeline.

Customer Success
  • Ensure smooth customer onboarding and adoption of solutions.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users for optimal utilization of the system.
  • Act as a point of contact for customer queries and support during implementation.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively address concerns to maintain strong relationships.
  • Any other cognate duties

 

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in mechanical/mechatronics engineering, industrial engineering or manufacturing engineering, data science or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-3 years relevant working experience fleet monitoring, data analysis, report creation, good mechanical knowledge 
  • Customer Service oriented
  • Advance skills in Microsoft Software
  • Flexible to work in a business, and organization in constant evolution
  • Fluent in English & French (both oral and written)
  • Business Intelligence (BI) Software knowledge is an asset (such as QlikSense, Power BI, BO or Tableau)
  • Experience with data and statistical analysis preferred
  • Self-starter with ability to turn objectives into actions and results
