Summary

 

The objective of this role is to support ESB (Equipments & Services BIA) Management and Senior Business Controller in analyzing performance metrics and overseeing the accounting activities across various operational hubs. The incumbent will be responsible for reporting monthly financial results to management and will also assist the Finance Manager of Hub IV in the preparation of monthly management accounts and the completion of annual audit files. Additionally, the candidate will provide support to the ESB Credit Control team, taking the lead in designing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with standardized financial procedures.

What will be your responsibilities?

 

  • Assist ESB operations with insightful information on performance.
  • Assist the senior Business Controller in gross margin analysis.
  • Maintain the accounting books for ESB.
  • Oversee the accounting and reporting for ESB.
  • Monitor and ensure proper stock control and valuation, including core return.
  • Assist in preparing Financial Statements and Cash Flow analysis in a timely manner.
  • Assist in preparing the yearly budget and forecast/reforecast.
  • Prepare ad-hoc agreements and ensure follow-up.
  • Assist in replying to auditors' queries.
  • Ensure local and legal reporting is processed properly.
  • Harmonize operations through financial procedures and improve them as needed.
  • Gather required developments for the Accounting Software, communicate these to the key user, and follow up.
  • Design, implement, and follow up on procedures
     

Who are we looking for?

 

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or any relevant studies/ ACCA Level 1 or equivalent
  • Fluent in French and English, both oral and written
  • Autonomous and ability to work within a team
  • Analytical mindset and result driven
  • Self-disciplined and organized
  • At least 3 years working experience in relevant field
  • Experience in SAP Accounting system will be an advantage
