Overzicht
To gather information needed for recording, updating, reconciling and analysing financial data in compliance with established policies, standards and procedures with the view of finalizing timely and accurate monthly management accounts and yearly financial statements.
Welke verantwoordelijkheden heb je?
- Process journal entries and invoices timely and accurately
- Coordinate with business dept and interco. To solve discrepancies
- Ensure full compliance with all Reporting Standards
- Prepare payment instructions as per company policy
- Reconcile sales and purchases listings in a timely manner
- Reconcile credit card accounts with expats
- Reconciliation of suppliers and customer statements of accounts with accounting system and invoices issued
- Interco and Balance sheet reconciliation with relevant schedules
- Bank reconciliation and liaise with banks to obtain relevant info
- Reconciliation and posting of petty cash journals including petty cash count
- Maintain and update fixed assets register
- Prepare Statutory Returns (e.g. TDS, Corporate Tax Returns, APS, Belgium VAT)
- Preparation of bi monthly Cash flow Forecasts
- Maintain proper filing records of documents
- Ensure accuracy and proper bookkeeping of transactions
- Liaise with bank for daily operations (e.g. credit card applications, swift details)
- Preparation of loan agreements and related board resolutions
- Assist in tax computations
- Assist Accountant in the preparation of monthly reporting pack and other relevant accounting and finance reports
- Assist Chief Accountant in the implementation and maintenance of the internal control sytem being put in place
- Assist Team in the preparation of annual budget and forecasts
- Assist HR Expat Officer in reconciliation of Advance, expense note and employee benefits
- Assist auditors for statutory and tax audit
- Calculations of provisions, accruals and complete closing tasks as per deadline set
- Coordinate interventions of auditors and Company Secretary to comply with strict reporting deadlines
- Assist in designing and implementation of accounting process
- Any other cognate duties
Wie zoeken wij?
- Degree in Accounting / ACCA Level 2 or equivalent
- Fluent in French and English, both oral and written
- Advanced accounting understanding and skills
- Autonomous and ability to work within a team
- Analytical mindset and result driven
- Self disciplined and organized
- ProficientAt least 3 years working experience in relevant field
- Experience in SAP Accounting system will be an advantage
- At least 3 years working experience in relevant field
