Summary
As Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will join a team of 50+ talented HR professionals supporting HR activities across more than 15 countries in the Group, spread across Africa, Mauritius and Belgium.
You will be mainly based in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, and you will be primarily responsible for managing and executing recruitment processes for local and regional positions in Ivory Coast, as well as supporting recruitment needs in other West and Central African countries where BIA operates, depending on business requirements.
In line with our Group governance model, the reporting structure will consist of a hierarchical (strong line) reporting to the HR Manager based in Ivory Coast and a functional (dotted line) reporting to the Group Recruitment & Mobility Manager based in Mauritius. In practice, the work organization, priorities, processes, recruitment standards, and operational management will be primarily coordinated by the functional reporting line based in Mauritius.
What will be your responsibilities?
Recruitment:
• Manage the entire recruitment process for permanent and temporary positions for local and regional positions
• Update of recruitment process and applicants in ATS (Applicant Tracking System: SAP SuccessFactors)
• Pre-requirements meeting with Hiring Managers and fine-tune the Job Advert
• Upload all related recruitment documents on the IT related tool
• Screening of incoming applications
• Organise and drive HR interviews (+ interview report)
• Follow-up of business interviews
• Negotiate salary package
• Coordinate onboarding process of newcomers
• Support the Recruitment & Mobility Manager in the implementation of recruitment projects at Group level
• Contribute to the maintenance of Talent Pool of candidates
• Develop a working relationship with recruitment agencies, where applicable
• Reporting
Other cognate duties, but not limited to:
• Job Fair/ Professional Event/ or any other Employer Branding event participation (Country-specific)
• Extra recruiting-related activities (Country-specific)

Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Recruitment activities on an international scale
- Familiarity with HR databases (ATS: SAP SuccessFactors is an advantage)
- Good Knowledge of Microsoft office tools: Excel, PPT, Word
- Recruiting experience in mining or construction sector is ideal
- Experience in leveraging social media for sourcing and attracting candidates is a strong advantage
- Fluent in French and English, both oral and written
- Competencies: Customer focus, Team oriented, Result orientation, Proactive, Influence & Persuasion skills
- Flexible for short-term business travel per year (1-2 weeks) (Mainly across West and Central African countries)
