Summary

 

The SmartFleetDX manager will drive the commercial development of SmartFleetDX in country and the related service as per agreed business objectives. He oversees Customers Success activities related to SmartFleetDX while managing our local SmartFleet team. This role would involve developing and implementing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and providing technical support to customers (Installation, remote support, project follow-up). The manager would also be responsible for understanding the unique needs of quarry & construction operations and tailoring SF service & solutions to meet those needs. Additionally, they would work closely with the product development team to ensure that our SFDX products meet the requirements of our territory customers and address industry-specific challenges.
 

The SmartFleetDX manager will report, coordinate, and align local SmartFleetDX activities with our global SmartFleetDX development strategy. 

What will be your responsibilities?

 

Main Focus Area:

 

  • All SmartFleetDX products and solutions.
  • SmartFleet DX Live, Manage, Insight.
  • Machine guidance systems.
  • Komatsu IMC systems.
  • SmartConstruction retrofit systems.
  • TopCon retrofit systems.
  • Autonomous machine systems: Steer, Teleo or others.
  • SmartFleetDX budget responsible.
  • SmartFleetDX Business developments (customer & solutions based).
  • Responsible for local SmartFleeDX team (commercial and technical).
  • Ensure Customer Relation & Customer Satisfactions.
  • Engage BIA organization on SmartFleet utilization & promotion.
  • Define Local Training requirements for end-user and BIA team.
  • Be the DX promoter.
  • Monitor Competitor Movements.

 

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities:

 

  • Be primarily responsible for setting, adhering, and achieving your regional budget in line with agreed budget plan.
  • Manage the sales forecast, sales opportunities and grow the sales pipeline. Provide regular opportunity pipeline reports to SF Sales and Service Team at HQ level.
  • Development of new sales channels either outside BIA customer portfolio or through new product line-up.
  • Where applicable, manage SFDX relationship with solutions partners (Komatsu IMC, SmartConstruction, TocpCon, Steer, SQS, iVolve, AVA, MMS).
  • Promote and drive the adoption of SFDX solutions by BIA Team & customers.
  • Customer satisfaction, provide and coordinate pre-& post-sales support, ensure install-base satisfaction, and represent SFDX in all client activities.
  • Put in place the correct tools and processes in order to manage the installation, remote support, warranties, etc. of SFDX related products.
  • Working closely with the SF Team in Mauritius to deliver fit for purpose solutions that best address end-user needs.
  • Define, organize, and supervise needed Customer Success activities in Belgium: Joyful, visits and training. 
  • Identify and address end-user adhesion gaps with SFDX team to always ensure our customer satisfaction.
  • Attend SFDX events, meetings, and Training.
  • Maintain solutions/product/service/pricing knowledge from a personal and team perspective.
  • Ensuring all business activities, behaviors and actions are executed in a manner that is compliant with BIA/SFDX policies.
     

Who are we looking for?


Education & Qualification:

 

  • Mechanical Engineer or equivalent by experience.
  • Customer relationship management.
  • Project & Team Management skills.

 

Experience:

 

  • Minimum 3 years of Management.
  • Demonstrates a strong commercial mindset with a natural ability to engage clients and ensure effective customer follow-up.
  • Demonstrated expertise in customer care with over three years of experience.
  • Effective Team & project experience of 3 years.
