Summary

 

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the role of the function is to manage the warehouse activities. Manage the 4,6M€ spare parts stock movements (inputs / outputs). Provide internal and external customers with parts stored in the warehouses. Ensure stock accuracy, lean and efficient  warehouse operations and a 5S work environment. Manage the operational relationship with BIA’s OEM (discussion about organization, quality issues, …)

What will be your responsibilities?

 

  • Ensure the coordination of all necessary services to optimize supply times and costs (management of the main stock, logistics monitoring, organization of deliveries).
  • Supervise and develop the Warehouse team (~6 people).
  • Manage the operational relationship with BIA’s OEM, including discussions on organization and quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with inbound and outbound processes.
  • Ensure adherence to the Komatsu PPP program and the DOS by the team.
  • Oversee warehouse activities to ensure efficient deliveries to both external and internal customers and rigorous stock management.
  • Consolidate and transmit warehouse activity reports to local management and other stakeholders.
  • Analyze and address various complaints related to warehouse operations.
  • Organize physical inventories and analyze stock variances.
  • Apply and enforce stock management rules (BIA and OEM).
  • Implement and ensure strict adherence to the 5S process, supporting the 5S audit process.
  • Contact transportation partners.
  • Ensure safety within the warehouse and yard environments for both BIA employees and external parties.
  • Ensure swift resolution of inbound and outbound issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within the Supply Chain.

Who are we looking for?

 

Education & Experience:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or relevant fields;
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role;
  • Experience of operating in a supervisory capacity within a fast paced;
  • Ability to manage inventory;
  • Ability to analyze data and provide insights from data;
  • Good IT systems knowledge and skills including advanced Excel skills;
  • Good time-management skills
  • Fluent in French and English
  • SAP demonstrated knowledge
