Summary

Ensure that the project is carried out to the highest level of quality, reliability in the timeframe as set out in the project plan.

What will be your responsibilities?

1.General responsibilities

• Ensure full utilization of special and common tooling available help Senior Supervisor and planning team to prepare labor and resources to achieve planned operational targets
• Help the planner manager to elaborate the short and mid-term operation planning taking into account parts delivery
• Daily follow up of the work carried out vs planned
• Assisting Senior Supervisor to Supervise subordinates to produce quality work
• Allocate job cards and manages technicians to maximize the throughput by aligning jobs to skills sets within team
• Ensure a work quality according to Komatsu Standard Procedures
• Check the proper use of Komatsu ICT tools 

2.Reporting

• Provide the Senior Supervisor or Fleet Manager with a daily report on operations
• Provide the Senior Supervisor or Fleet Manager with daily timesheets
• Provide the Senior Supervisor or Fleet Manager with core assessment / component assembly and testing/ PM Clinic reports

3.Documentations

• Keep organized detailed records and pictures of every job and additional information needed for successful warranty submission and execution
• Performing routine machine inspection for backlog reporting and parts recommendations
• Keep detailed labor records for every job and send to planning team
• Keep tracks of every consumed parts send to planning team

4.Training 

• Gives practical assistance, on-the-job training and technical advice to subordinates
• Maintain safe working practices – improve the safety in the field and at the workshop in case job to be carried in the workshop

Others

• Maintain a zero tolerance to safety breaches
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment with and for the team
• Ensure time keeping is of the highest standards, and that all documentation is submitted timeously
• Ensure that the workforce is well informed and that change management is practiced. With all documentation submitted timeously

Who are we looking for?

Education & Experience:

• Experiences with at least 5 years on Komatsu big Excavator machines is a plus (PC2000-8; PC3000-6 or PC4000-11 and PC5500-11) and has advanced certificate and has been working in overseas in West Africa is a plus
• Good computer skills with knowledge in MS-Word, Excel, Projects, SAP is a plus
• Very good knowledge of mechanics and electrical system
• Experience in the rebuild facility procedures and processes on Komatsu Big Excavator will be a plus
• Customer focused
• Respect for leadership and team members
• Experience with removal and installation of components on big Komatsu Machine
• Ability to function within a team with prior project work experience
• Good communication skills, both verbal and writing in English and second language French basic is a plus
• Interpersonal skills mandatory
