Summary

Oversees all accounting activities for the various departments in accordance with accounting principles and standards to monitor the organization's financial resources and ensure they comply with all relevant regulations, laws and reporting requirements.

What will be your responsibilities?

Smooth administrative processes of all transactions, including cash follow-up; the budget is well managed. Ensures a healthy financial situation so that long-term cooperation with customers and suppliers is possible.
Ensures alignment with corporate strategy and objectives.

A. Validate financial correctness and feasibility

• Assessing all transactions for compliance with policy and regulations fully in line with the '4 eyes principle'

B. Accountancy leadership

• Monitors cash flow in line with operations needs and group targets
• Draws up VAT returns
• Takes care of the monthly closing
• Managing the general ledger
• SPOC with Shared Service Center
• Manages debtors and creditors
• Files tax returns and CBS reports
• Prepares the annual accounts
• Helps customers and suppliers by answering questions
• Manage the communication of financial and accounting topics and issues with the business units
• Monitors the application of group procedures (Finance Manual)
• Ensuring that adequate financial controls and administrative procedures are maintained for the business
• Participates in project groups

C. Financial Reporting and Analysis

• Providing financial reports, the related financial analyzes and providing KPIs for managing the business
• Ensures that all anomalies and trends are analyzed and explained

Who are we looking for?

• HBO in Finance
• Minimum 4 years of experience in an accounting position
• Excellent in MS-Office and SAP (Fi)
• Good speaking and writing skills of the Dutch and English language
