Summary

 

The Sales Manager's mission is to manage and develop the customer portfolio for which he/she is responsible on the assigned territory

What will be your responsibilities?

 

1. Continuous prospecting

 

  • Prospect the designated market, in collaboration with local sales teams
  • Develop the CITE's (Construction, Industry, Transport & Energy) client portfolio
  • Provide a monthly report on developments in designated territories
  • Explore new business prospects for existing customers
  • Analyze and report on competitor's market, their products and commercial offers (including sharing with the team)

 

2. Strategy and customer care

 

  • Support and implement the strategy defined in the BUC
  • Maintain and improve customer relations in designated territories
  • Regularly visit customers on site or HQ
  • Develop and maintain customer records on the CRM
  • Develop the Cross Functional Team to ensure cross-departmental collaboration in the delivery of sales offers
  • Supervise the offers of the sales representatives based in the territory

 

3. Negotiation and sale of equipment and accessories

 

  • Carry out and negotiate equipment and accessory offers with the customers for which he is responsible.
  • Supervise and control orders.
  • Ensure that the rules related to financing and control of financial and legal risks established by BIA Group are respected.
  • Contribute to the achievement of the BUC's business objective

 

4. Product knowledge

 

  • Update knowledge of manufacturers' machines in order to respond effectively to customers' needs
  • Ensure the dissemination of information to the sales representatives based in the territories

 

5. Reporting

 

  • Establish and follow up regularly the Order Book which includes the different offers, in progress, missed, ...
  • Establish a monthly report on the status of customers and activities
  • Establish a quarterly rolling forecast of sales

Who are we looking for?

 

  • Minimum 8-10 years of Commercial experience in a similar sector or position
  • Master degree in relevant field of study or equivalent by experience
  • Confirmed “IT skills” (MS Office, Excel, Access, SAP)
  • General knowledge of finance
  • Knowledge of the sector or an industrial sector
  • Experience in international organizations with a delocalized presence
  • Fluent in English and French
