Summary

 

The Area Sales Manager is in charge of the machines sales, project sales including SLA within the allocated area.

What will be your responsibilities?

 

1.Sales Development:

  • Sales development in assigned countries.
  • Management of customers’ portfolio, consolidation and expansion. 
  • Support of subsidiaries in assigned area. 
  • Customer satisfaction evaluation tools implementation and follow-up. 
  • Business plan and forecast preparation + finalization.
  • Sales quotations, orders supervision and control.
  • Maintainance and improvement of BIA mining customers ‘relationship in the allocated area. 
  • Correct transfer of sales orders to the sales admin service (commissioning warranty, technical issues, etc…). 
  • Market analysis and reporting.
  • Maintainance a constructive relationship with our suppliers.
  • Provide monthly reports on area developments. 
  • Regular trips to the allocated area and on-site presence.
  • Develop new customers to broaden the client portfolio and achieve business targets. 
  • Prepare and plan visits to customers. 
  • Actively participate in team meetings to ensure a consistent approach and create a platform that promotes discussion about everyday problems.
  • Customer mapping.

 

2. Management aspects:

  • Gather information to have an overview of the customer, projetcs, needs and issues. 
  • Share this information with the after sales department.
  • Manage its Sales workforce.
     

Who are we looking for?

 

  • Holder of a higher University Diploma or Bachelor degree in Business Management, Sales or any other related fields or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Fluent in Mandarin & English, French is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Willing and able to travel frequently to mining sites; must hold a valid international driving permit.
