Summary

 

The Condition Monitoring & Optimisation Engineer is responsible for the monitoring and development of value-added remote services and advanced fleet analysis based on equipment telematics data. 
The person will also support in business development prospects, introducing new users to SmartFleet and be a key driver to improve BIA and Customer maintenance efficiency through consultancy services using data driven solutions. The person will also lead the establishment of Condition Monitoring Rules & Process with the support of the OEM and internal stakeholders.
 

What will be your responsibilities?

 

  • Define best telematic data source & data collection solutions with respect to sites/fleets
  • Lead Data availability and consistency over time by performing regular data “sanity checks”
  • Lead machine registration & communication/troubleshooting to ensure data availability
  • Provide timely daily, weekly or monthly analysis, notifications & dashboards according to contractual SmartFleet commitments. Provide machine condition analysis & recommendations relative to maintenance, machine health monitoring and fault code monitoring to increase equipment availability and reduce TCO
  • Recommend further development of SmartFleet dashboards/analysis to match stakeholder requirements
  • Define how to generate added value analysis from simple/obvious/reactive analysis to complex/proactive analysis mixing results from various sources
  • Ensure SmartFleet will support stakeholders to moving from reactive data interpretation to proactive actions, driven by data analysis
  • Introduce effective statistical/analytical tools in daily analysis to leverage the performances of our big data processing tools analysis based on big data treatment
  • Be able to interpret various advance machine telematics information and generate preventive alerts to prevent machine breakdown and move to predictive maintenance level
  • Consult with operation and technical (BIA/Komatsu) personnel concerning best practices, troubleshooting, recommendations
  • Engage in monitoring activities and meetings to provide technical support to internal & external customers Initiate dialogue with site users where necessary to investigate issues on fleet based on received telematics data
  • D&MS services promotion to customers and other parties (presentation/demo/webinars/etc)
  • Provide relevant training to internal and external customers on the D&MS

Who are we looking for?

 

  • Degree in Business or engineering related field;
  • With 2 years of supervision and planning;
  • Requires experience in condition monitoring;
  •  Excellent problem solving, decision making and planning skills;
  • Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite will be a good point;
  • The ability to work in a team environment, which includes being self-motivated, accepting responsibilities, completing assigned action items, and participating in a proactive manner in all team events;
