Summary

 

The Key Account Manager reports to the General Manager China and is in charge of managing Chinese Customers activities in accordance with BIA Africa & Business Unit (BU) strategies. You will be responsible for sales & business support development of Construction & Mining machines business field as well as to assist EP business of Chinese projects in BIA covered territory of Africa. Your mission will be in China and you will travel in Africa when it is necessary, to be in contact with our potential Chinese SOE customers and other Chinese customer of all Chinese International Contractors to build up good relationships and make businesses.

What will be your responsibilities?

 

Sales Mission

  • To find and build up relationship with the Chinese International Contractors who have projects in BIA covered territory of Africa
  • Visiting SOE, EPC customers in China who get projects in BIA Africa territory
  • Being aware of all Chinese purchase tenders for projects in our territories and participate in the tenders
  • Visiting our African territories to be in contact with our BU EMS Sales Force and local Chinese customers, bring projects which decision makers are in China
  • Prepare technical and commercial quotations; attend technical presentation and clarification meeting; attend commercial bidding and contract negotiation
  • Negotiates customer contracts in accordance with overall company sales strategy
  • Providing sales forecast and market reports
  • Plan sales & marketing approach technique
  • Keep the file of customers and prospects up to date
  • Ongoing technology watch and competition watch in the market concerned
  • Grow the sales of equipment, parts and services
  • Work in multi-functional team to deliver sales target

Who are we looking for?

 

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Profile familiar with Machinery/ Automobile sector is a definite plus
  • Open to overseas business travel
