Summary

 

Responsible for supporting all supply activity by ensuring the receipt, verification, handling and management of stocks on the one hand and on the other, inventory preparation, customer service (internal and external) and relations with suppliers. While ensuring optimal management of the various stocks of spare parts and components, the storekeeper is also responsible for providing administrative support to the inventory planner on site.

What will be your responsibilities?

 

Inventory management

  • Ensure that the inventory management strategy and procedures put in place are followed and applied in accordance within the store
  • Initiate and monitor improvements in inventory management
  • Check and validate delivery slips and acknowledgments of receipt
  • Carry out the inspection of the goods and the count & Inventory update
  • Wrap products & maintain the premises and clean the equipment made available to it
  • Take the requested items from stock and give them to the requester against signature. 
  • Report items with zero stock and/or insufficient quantity
  • Participate in the cyclical or annual inventory of store stock
  • Ensure logistics activities in support of inventory and purchasing management
  • Apply all health and safety rules that govern the Karma site

 

Assistance in Administrative Management

  • Ensure the administrative follow-up within the Store on site;
  • Perform administrative tasks in support of the inventory planner;
  • Assist in the production of activity reports if necessary;
  • Perform data entry into the computerized systems made available;
  • Ensure the implementation and compliance.

Who are we looking for?

 

Education & Qualification

  • School training in Inventory Management (or Accounting) at BEP or Bac level
  • In-depth knowledge of inventory management techniques
  • Knowledge of administrative assistance
  • Good knowledge of MS Office computer tools. Knowledge of an ERP, in particular SAP, is an asset
  • Languages: perfect French and knowledge of English is an asset

Experience

  • Experience of 3 to 5 years in a similar function, ideally within an industrial store
