Summary

 

Be the Finance business partner of the Country Director to support the operational activities on the Country. Organize, manage and supervise the Administration and Finance team and activities in the country in order to support the business and the Group and Country objectives.

What will be your responsibilities?

 

  • Ensure that the entity(ies) you are responsible for comply with legal requirements and Group rules and policies and operate efficiently in order to support the business and the Group objectives
  • Implement and ensure compliance of your entity with all financial processes and procedures
  •  Coach and oversee the Chief Accountant and the Country Business Controller. Develop them and monitor their performance 
  • Ensure that the entity is compliant with all internal and external administrative and financial requirements
  •  Ensure, in collaboration with the Shared Service Center team, that your entity(ies) comply with all accounting and regulatory requirements regarding financial reports
  • Support the development and the activities of the Business Control to deliver accurate financial reports in order to:
    • perform and interpret financial analysis to advise the business in the decision-making process and
    • develop business trends and projections.
  • Complete regular financial reviews and delivering accurate financial reports (balance sheets reviews, etc.)
  •  Perform the business cycle process activities (budget & forecast)
  •  Be responsible, from a Finance perspective, of the development of the main business / operational projects / offers (including review of offers and respect of Compliance). Be the SPOC Finance for all matters related to mining or construction contract on the territory

Who are we looking for?

 

  • University degree, Bac + 4/5 in Financial Engineering, Accounting, Auditing or Chartered Accountancy.
  • 7 years' practical experience, including at least 3 years in a similar position;
  • At least 2 years' experience in a law firm would be highly recommended; 
  • Proven experience of working with an ERP (e.g. SAP);
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • Fluency in French and a good level of English (written & spoken);
  • Good work structure/organisation, autonomous ;
  • Strong organisational and planning skills;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
