Overzicht

 

The Roving PSSR will support Bia After-market long term strategy, developing and growing the business, consisting of Parts sales and services in the assigned regions by combining strong technical expertise, mining/quarry industry knowledge, and commercial development skills.

He/she will focus on expanding market shares on parts sales, acquiring new customers, optimizing existing portfolios, and positioning Bia as the top-tier distributor of parts for mining equipment.

 

He/she will contribute to the achievement of the following objectives:

 

  • Be recognized as top-tier distributor selling premium quality parts.
  • Be able to provide top quality support to our client thanks to highly skilled experts and efficient internal processes.
  • Optimize Bia positioning on the aftermarket business, becoming the preferred technical partner for parts selection, performance monitoring, productivity improvement, and cost-per-ton optimization.
  • Increase client loyalty.
  • Secure organic growth of T.O through reinforced commercial practices and improved competitiveness.

Welke verantwoordelijkheden heb je?

 

Business Development & Sales Growth:

 

  • Execute the commercial strategy for the allocated territories, following the agreed rotation plan (depending on priorities defined at management level).
  • Secure continuity of operations and sales.
  • Identify, prospect and convert new customers (mining, quarrying, construction heavy-duty).
  • Assess existing customers’ needs to expand aftermarket sales, proposing them new equipment and parts.
  • Conduct market analysis, pricing positioning, competitor intelligence, and share insights with central teams.

 

Customer Portfolio Management:

 

  • Secure Bia brand recognition and customer loyalty by developing trust-based relationships with key customers through a consultative approach and an onsite presence.
  • Identify customer fleets and parts usage patterns to offer optimized and tailored solutions (to design with Part Product Manager and OEM).
  • Perform site inspections, equipments, buckets and GET audits, and wear/material analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and reinforce best practices.
  • Support customers in identifying and advising on high turnover parts to optimize their forecast and stock management.

 

Technical Expertise & Field Support:

 

  • Support TSSR and PSSR in providing technical recommendations on parts selection according to application, material abrasiveness, bucket configuration and expected lifetime.
  • Support onsite operators in preparing and sharing reports on parts performance follow-up, cost-per-ton evaluations, and optimization proposals.
  • Collaborate with OEM, Parts Product Managers, and PSSR/O for trials, validations, and performance monitoring.
  • Support in the coordination of Training sessions organized for local operators (Bia teams and Clients).

 

Internal & Cross-functional Coordination:

 

  • Prepare Mission Reports and share key updates with PSSR, PPM and other relevant colleagues.
  • Collaborate with local and central Supply Chain team to secure smooth operations thanks to efficient stock management.
  • Support PSSR/O and PPM in preparing business case, quotations, following up on orders and ensuring smooth operational execution.
  • Use digital tools (WAI app, UMS, SmartFleet, OEM Inspection App, etc.) to generate opportunities and track performance.

Wie zoeken wij?

 

Education & Qualification:

 

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Sales, or Commercial Engineering, with a solid technical understanding of mechanical or industrial equipment.
  • Strong understanding of mining equipment & parts, heavy machinery, and bucket configurations (internal training will be organized to boost skills).

  • Demonstrated success in business development or key account management.

  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment and wear parts.

  • Understanding of mining applications (abrasive materials, penetration, excavator & loader operation).

  • Ability to perform inspections, wear audits,and technical reporting.
  • CRM/ERP proficiency (SAP or equivalent is an asset) and MS Office proficiency.

  • Willingness to travel up to 70% - (sites and local headquarters).

 

Experience:

 

  • Minimum 3 years in a technical commercial role (aftermarket, parts, service, product support).
  • Experience in mining, quarrying, or heavy construction equipment is essential.
