Summary

 

Plan, direct and monitor all parts planning and inventory activities, i.e. Inventory control and monitoring, Continuous Improvement actions and projects and OEM/Supplier Performance Management, to ensure having the right parts at the right place at the right moment at the right cost, together with business aligned inventory level.

What will be your responsibilities?

 

•Define and measure OEM/Suppliers KPIs based on objectives and context
•Manage OEM/Suppliers, organise regular reviews, make sure they perform as per expected standards
•Communicate performance internally to different levels of the organization
•Analyze the deviations from the expected results, lead appropriate projects and put in place the corrective actions
•Measure the results of improvement projects
•Supports the internal customers in their own performance review by providing the requested Masterdata and KPI's
•Represent the SC department for the different systems, i.e. ERP and reporting tool, improvements and adjustments
•Coordinate with the internal and external partners the different level of planning, i.e. Major Components and SIOP, to ensure parts availability where and when needed across the network
•Manage central stocks and guarantee proper stock levels as per planning, business requirements and budget
•Maintain and enforce BIA Stock Policy across BIA network
•Participate actively in various business meetings to better understand our customers' expectations
•Contribute to SC continuous improvement
•Work closely with HR to ensure the operational and daily management of its team in compliance with BIA’s policies as defined by HR. (Incl: recruitment, objective setting, performance evaluation, learning and personal development plan, talent review, holiday and expense review and approval, etc.)

Who are we looking for?

 

Education & Qualification

•Master Degree
•Fluent in English & French. Dutch & German are strong assets.
•Experience in mining and / or construction industry is an asset
•Min. 10 years’ experience in Parts Inventory Management
•Experience of doing business in Africa is an asset
•Capability of working with and adapting to any level inside an organization (from workshop to top mgt)
