Summary

 

The Junior PMO Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects within BIA, ensuring they are executed on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality and safety standards.

In this role, the Junior PMO Project Manager assists project managers and internal stakeholders by preparing project documentation, following up on tasks and deadlines, monitoring progress, and contributing to risk and issue management. The Junior PMO Project Manager will also coordinate smaller projects.

This position serves as an entry point for developing full project management capabilities within BIA’s project portfolio, gaining experience in structured project governance, stakeholder communication, and operational coordination.

 

What will be your responsibilities?

 

1. Project Coordination & Follow‑up of small projects

  • Follow up project plan & track project progress, deadlines, and deliverables, ensuring all deliverables & activities stay within scope and standards.
  • Coordinate small & low complexity projects with project core team & impacted stakeholders
  • Prepare minutes of meetings, follow up on action items, and maintain project documentation.
  • Monitor logged issues & follow up corrective actions

 

2. Support to PMO Project Managers or PMO manager

  • Support the preparation of project plans, project charter, stakeholder lists & other project documents.
  • Assist in analyzing project requirements, resource needs & project impacts.
  • Contribute to risk identification, mitigation planning, UAT & issue tracking.
  • Plan project meetings & workshops.
  • Maintain up to date project plan & issues list.

 

3. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Ensure clear and effective communication between project team and stakeholders.
  • Prepare monthly project reports, presentation, & status updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate information flow across teams to support smooth project execution.
  • Support training & change management

 

4. Process & Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to standardization and improvement of BIA project management tools, templates, and processes.
  • Support lessons learned and support knowledge-sharing activities within the PMO.
  • Participate in internal improvement initiatives led by the PMO.

 

Who are we looking for?

 

Education & Experience:

  • Master degree in a relevant field (such as business administration, project management or engineering)
  • Fluency in English; French and/or Dutch
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • 0–3 years of experience in project coordination or a similar role (internships included).
