Summary

 

 

The purpose of this role is to help BIA leverage AI in an effective and pragmatic way by translating business needs into high-impact AI solutions and agents, while ensuring technical feasibility, security, governance and scalability.

 

The AI Solutions Manager acts as:

  • a bridge between business and technology;
  • an accelerator of AI adoption across the organization;
  • trusted advisor on what AI can and cannot do;
  • driver of business value, beyond technology alone.

 

The role requires sufficient technical understanding to assess AI capabilities and constraints, combined with strong business insight to identify where AI can bring real value.

What will be your responsibilities?

 

1. Business–Technology Bridge & Value Translation

 

  • Act as the main interface between business stakeholders and IT/SAP teams.
  • Understand business processes, pain points and opportunities.
  • Translate business needs into value-driven AI use cases and agents.
  • Assess and recommend relevant technologies and tools.
  • Frame AI initiatives in terms of business impact, efficiency, quality and scalability.


2. AI Solution & Agent Design

 

  • Design, create and deploy AI solutions and agents aligned with real business needs, including:
    • Copilot-based solutions such as Agent Builder, Copilot Studio and Microsoft Foundry;
    • AI agents integrated into the Microsoft ecosystem, such as SharePoint and Power Automate;
    • AI agents integrated into business workflows.
  • Ensure solutions are easy to build, simple to adopt, secure, compliant, maintainable and scalable, using low-code/no-code approaches where relevant.


3. AI Architecture & Technical Alignment

 

  • Ensure AI solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture.
  • Define the AI architecture and tool selection matrix, for example Copilot vs Joule vs Power BI Copilot vs customized AI.
  • Define and maintain an up-to-date AI use case catalog.
  • Collaborate closely with IT, SAP and Security teams.
  • Validate data sources, data quality, LLM selection, access management, compliance and integration with existing systems.


4. AI Governance, Responsibility & Risk Awareness

 

  • Define and maintain AI governance within the group.
  • Define and maintain the AI roadmap.
  • Promote responsible AI principles.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, the AI Act and internal governance rules.
  • Help business teams understand AI risks, limitations and responsible usage.


5. Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Sharing

 

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data and AI standards, patterns and best practices.
  • Capitalize on lessons learned and promote standardization across initiatives.
  • Monitor Copilot updates and maintain an active technology watch on AI and data trends.
  • Organize Copilot update sessions to maintain an engaged Copilot community.
  • Coach, support and train business users on AI adoption and usage.


6. AI Acceleration & Adoption

 

  • Actively support and accelerate BIA’s AI journey.
  • Identify quick wins and high-value opportunities.
  • Support the transition from idea to use case, AI agent and scalable solution.
  • Contribute to AI communities of practice and adoption initiatives.
  • Help demystify AI for non-technical stakeholders.

Who are we looking for?

 

Education & Qualifications:

 

  • Master’s degree in Business Management, IT, Engineering, Data, Business Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Certification or formal training in one or more of the following areas:
    • Artificial Intelligence or Data Analytics;
    • Power BI;
    • Cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure;
    • Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, Copilot, Power Platform and Microsoft Foundry;
    • Enterprise or Solution Architecture.
  • Fluency in English and French; Dutch is a strong asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word; knowledge of MS Project and Smartsheet is an asset.
  • Proven experience in digital transformation projects.
  • 5–10 years of experience in AI, master data management and architecture.
  • Proven experience with modern data platforms and AI-driven projects.
  • Exposure to complex, multi-system and international environments.
  • Experience in industrial or large corporate environments is an asset.
